Hey everyone! I'm here to make a new post regarding being raid ready and putting our best foot forward every raid night so we can make use of everyone's time and have some fun :)
First off, I want to lay out some ground rules that will help keep us organized and on the same page, as there's been some confusion here and there.
Check the schedule every week, and mark yourself as attending or not for any events depending on your availability.
Please be online, mended, and on your appropriate class 15 minutes before raid time.
Check Item level and Accuracy requirements for the event you've signed up for.
Please do some research into the fights before raid time! It helps tremendously to be familiar with content as much as possible.
Now that that's out of the way, I'd like to talk about raid conduct! We don't really have an official raid leader, but for the most part, Vela has taken it upon himself to call things out for the group and has done a great job.
During a fight we should try to keep chatter to a minimum so Vela can do his job and also let him be the one to call out mechanics unless he asks for assistance. Having multiple people making a call at the same time, especially if they're different calls, can be confusing and cause more problems than anything. This isn't to say we can't have fun and make jokes, just to be mindful of the phase of the fight and be ready for it.
I've been having a ton of fun raiding with you guys and I look forward to many more nights of hilarity and awesome boss kills, we'll be starting on Turn 9 soon, so take the above into account and lets do our best to get into the Final Coil as soon as possible! :)
